The Baseball - I Love New York
Baseball with the world-famous "I love New York" design printed on it. A great gift for anyone whose heart beats for New York City and baseball.
Baseball - I Love New York
Did you know that the world-famous phrase "I love New York", invented in the 1970s, is both the slogan and the name of the marketing campaign for the state of New York and New York City in particular? Because the Big Apple had a rather bad reputation at the time due to violent and drug-related crime, the city decided on a broad-based image campaign.
The world-famous "I love New York" logo that can be seen on this baseball was designed by graphic designer Milton Glaser during a taxi ride in 1975 as part of the above-mentioned campaign. Since the designer did not believe in the success of the campaign, he did not charge a fee for developing the logo.
Whether for sports or as decoration, this baseball is a must-have for all fans of New York and baseball and a great little gift!
