It all began in 1968 with a simple wax crayon - Michael Kittredge used it to make his first candle, which he gave to his mother for Christmas. Shortly afterwards he founded the Yankee Candle Company. At the height of his success, Kittredge sold his company at the end of the 1990s and devoted himself more to his family. In 2009, Mick Kittredge, son of the Yankee Candle founder, decided to follow in his father's footsteps and founded his own scented candle company: the Kringle Candle Company. The name of the company comes from "Kris Kringle", the American equivalent of our Christ Child. The wax of the DayLights, like all Kringle Candles, is in various shades of white and therefore blends in wonderfully with any environment. The cute candle tins and decorative glasses create a beautiful color contrast that matches the respective scent theme of the candle. Every year, Kringle Candle launches a range of special fragrances in black candle glass to coincide with the American holiday, which are particularly popular as collector's items.
