Pure Country Weavers, a family-run business from North Carolina, is a manufacturer of handmade tapestries, fabric bags, throw blankets and pillows and is already run by the second generation. Beautiful designs from a wide range of themes on skilfully manufactured quality products make the hearts of all textile lovers beat faster. American Heritage imports Pure Country Weavers products directly from the USA.
New York City, also known as the Big Apple, had a very bad reputation in the 1970s due to drug and violent crime, so the city launched a broad image campaign. It was called "I Love New York" - the phrase that later became the world-famous slogan of the metropolis at the mouth of the Hudson River into the Atlantic. The visual implementation of the slogan was done in 1975 by graphic designer Milton Glaser during a taxi ride. Apparently, he did not take a fee for it because he did not believe in the success of the campaign.
The cozy blanket is made of 100% cotton and is therefore particularly easy to care for. The matching "I Love New York" pillow is also available from American Heritage.
