It all began in 1968 with a wax crayon - from which Michael Kittredge pulled his first candle, which he gave to his mother for Christmas. Shortly afterwards he founded the well-known Yankee Candle Company, which he later sold. In 2009 his son, Mick Kittredge, followed in his father's footsteps and founded his own scented candle company: the Kringle Candle Company, also based in New England. The range combines the best of traditional and modern candle designs, which have been specially designed to harmonize with any environment. The candle wax is white, as with all Kringle Candles.
