Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup: Intense aromas of bourbon, smoky oak, graham crackers, brown butter and creamy vanilla characterize the extraordinary, almost luxurious taste of Crown Maple Bourben Barrel Aged Maple Syrup. The basis is organically grown maple syrup, which matures in former bourbon barrels and absorbs the taste of the bourbon and wood. The syrup is then bottled in the state-of-the-art sugarhouse in Dover Plains, New York.

Crown Maple's delicious maple syrup is produced on Madava Farms, a 300-hectare site in the picturesque Hudson Valley in New York State. The site was used for agriculture until the outbreak of the American Civil War; when it was left fallow afterwards, countless maple trees began to grow on it. Former banker and founder of Crown Maple Rob Turner bought the site in 2007 for himself and his wife for vacation purposes. He learned from his new neighbors that there were around 20,000 maple trees on his newly acquired property and decided to start producing maple syrup. The first batch was produced in 2011 and today, just a few years later, Crown Maple's maple syrup is considered to be the highest quality in the world.

In the so-called reverse osmosis, a special, patented process for producing Crown Maple maple syrup, around 80% of the water content is removed from the maple sap and impurities are filtered out. Incidentally, whether maple syrup is light or dark depends on the time of harvest. The later it is harvested, the darker the color and the stronger the flavor. Crown Maple maple syrup is used in numerous New York Michelin-starred restaurants.
