It all began in 1968 with a simple crayon, which Michael Kittredge turned into his first candle and gave to his mother for Christmas. Shortly afterwards, he founded the Yankee Candle Company. In the late 1990s, Kittredge sold his company at the height of its success and devoted more time to his family. In 2009, Mick Kittredge, the son of the founder of Yankee Candle, decided to follow in his father's footsteps and set up his own scented candle company: the Kringle Candle Company. Incidentally, the name of the company is derived from "Kris Kringle", the American equivalent of the Christ Child. The wax of the DayLights and all Kringle Candles is kept in different shades of white to blend harmoniously into any environment. The cute candle jars and decorative glasses create a wonderful colour contrast that matches the respective fragrance theme of the candle.
