Jasper Chair 980 Boston Cherry | 1950's Vintage Oak Armchair

You’ve seen it in the movies. The original Jasper Chairs from the long-standing Jasper Seat Company from south Indiana, USA. They’re found in American courthouses and libraries around the country. These legendary chairs have been artfully made in Jasper, Indiana since 1929 from massive oak using the extremely rare wood working technique of steam bending. The chairs are height adjustable and also have a special reclining mechanism to adjust the incline of the backrest. The Jasper Seating Company supports sustainable ecological methods of production sourcing its wood from Indiana-based foresters.

Jasper Chairs are each finished in Indiana according to customer specification with regard to type of wood, finish, and upholstery. The cushioned chair comes with a black leather cushion.
